Biography
Bryan Cutler was elected to represent the 100th District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2006. A lifelong resident of the Peach Bottom area and a graduate of Solanco High School, Cutler understands the concerns and priorities of the residents of the 100th District.

Prior to his election to the House, Cutler worked at Lancaster Regional Medical Center as an X-ray technologist, providing direct clinical care to patients, while attending law school. He gained supervisory experience from his previous position as the manager of Support Services for Lancaster General Hospital, where he directed the budgets and daily operations of several sections in the radiology department.

As a member of the House Republican Health Care Alternative Task Force, Cutler has used his extensive health care experience to develop legislation that addresses tort reform and Pennsylvania’s medical malpractice crisis. He has and will continue to work to address the accessibility and affordability of health care for every citizen of the Commonwealth.

Cutler understands that small businesses are the backbone of our economy and has worked to diversify the economy and job market of Pennsylvania, including expanding our use of alternative energy sources.

A government watchdog, Cutler has authored several bills that would bring more accountability to state programs like the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and would further enforce Pennsylvania’s lobbyist disclosure law. He has given constant attention to controlling state spending, encouraging fiscal responsibility and promoting transparency and openness in government, and even reports his own office’s spending on his Web site, RepCutler.com.

Cutler’s previous government experience includes serving on the Drumore Township Planning Commission, the Regional Planning Commission and the Emergency Management Team for Drumore Township.

Cutler is a graduate of Widener Law School, where he qualified for Law Review. He also attended Lebanon Valley College, graduating summa cum laude, and Lancaster General School of Radiology, graduating first in his class and receiving the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award. His other accolades include the Mallinckrodt Award for Clinical Excellence and a certificate of achievement in Health Care Enterprise Ownership.

Cutler and his wife, Jennifer, have three children, Cheyanne Marie, Caleb Dean and Drew Carolyn.

Cutler is an active member of the Wrightsdale Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association (NRA).

The 100th District includes the townships of Bart, Colerain, Conestoga, Drumore, East Drumore, Eden, Fulton, Leacock, Little Britain, Manor, Martic, Paradise, Providence, Sadsbury, and Strasburg and the boroughs of Christiana, Quarryville, and Strasburg.
